Come with us on tour! Our region has a lot to offer for both - experienced mountaineers or newcomers to the world of ski randonee.

In high-winter we climb the  "Pinzgauer Grasberge", from Maria Alm to Saalbach, in spring me move up higher to the national-park "Hohe Tauern" with summits like Großvenediger, Großglockner, Sonnblick that rise above 3000 m sealevel.

For those who have never toured before we offer a "rookie tour". We show you how to use the ski randonee, give you some hints for an energy-saving technique while walking/tracking and introduce the kick-turn.

The first tour shouldn´t be too long - your legs have to adapt to the new movement. For those who have never seen an avalanche transmitter we give an solid introduction into avalanche rescue technique.

Precondition :

Solid technique on black slopes, Some experience off piste.

We try to find the runs fitting to your technique

For those who do not have experience in Powder we offer Piste to Powder

Your equipement  :

Wide Ski for the slope / even better would be a freeride ski with skins an randonee binding (tour binding)  like  Marker Duke/Baron/Tour or Fritschi Freeride/Eagle.

Helmet, worm, wind- und weatherproof ski clothing and gloves, ski goggles and sun protection.

If you prefer to use your own backpack - just bring it along.

Rental:

Let us know if you want to try a  freeride-ski. Our ski rental partner has the newest Freeride models with fitting binding. We gladly help you choosing the right modell and reserve the ski for you.

Can I join a group ?

Yes, every Friday you are welcome to join :  „My first ski tour“

An easy skitour up to Maurerkogel for skiers who want to lern ski touring.(200 vertical metres ,1000 horizontal metres)

We offer this open group session in cooperation with Allmountainskischule Zell am See, Werner Schuh.

Price 40 € per person (excl. touring equipement)

Meeting point : Every Friday at the top of Trass Express 09 am until  12  ( from  16.12.2011 - 13.4.2012)
