Freeride Guiding

Powder -  everybody loves the white gold. We are checking the snow reports daily, discuss the experiences ofthe day in our team an try to coordinate our tours and plans.

The best runs are hidden. - one can´t see them from the lifts. Might be you see a seducing slope, but one cannot see where it is ending up. - possibly a dead end leading to some cliffs or thick forest.

You´d better not just rely on your gut feeling, but on long-term experience of experts. Beside beeing able to find an awesome run with great snow they are willing to impart the crucial know how for and about backcountry skiing.

We are not bound to a certain ski resort. Studying the avalanche- and weather reports in the morning gives us a good idea where the conditions are save and promising. Then we decide where to go.

It makes sense to be accomodated in Zell am See because it is situated in the center of Salzburg county. This gives us the chance to reach several top freeride resorts with a short car ride.

We can definitely recommend  the Salzburgsuperskicard (more info here). This  lift-pass is valid in 23 ski resorts  of Salzburgund including resorts in Tirol like Kitzbühel and Fieberbrunn.

So if snow quality is the thing tat bothers you, if you are flexible and do not mind to do short car rides you will for sure like our concept. Deciding  short dated  for this and that resort is rasing the chance on powder considerably. Beside that it is fun to ride in lots of different resorts.

Though, if you prefer to book some guiding in a certain resort, we gladly comply to your request.

Can I join a group ?

We apologize for not offering open groups - the prices are given for closed groups only. That means all the participant know each other, have about the same level in technique and book together.

Your equipement  :

Wide Ski for the slope / even better would be a freeride ski with skins an randonee binding (tour binding)  like  Marker Duke/Baron/Tour or Fritschi Freeride/Eagle.

Helmet, worm, wind- und weatherproof ski clothing and gloves, ski goggles and sun protection.

If you prefer to use your own backpack - just bring it along.
